Kangana Ranaut transforms into Indira Gandhi in new teaser
Kangana Ranaut had a pretty unsuccessful run at the box office this year, with "Dhaakad" failing miserably at the box office. However, the "Queen" stunned everyone when she released her first look and teaser from "Emergency".
The actress announced the news on her Twitter account with the caption, "Presenting 'Her' who was called 'Sir".
The one-and-a-half-minute long teaser showcased Kangana transforming herself as the former prime minister Indira Gandhi by wearing the iconic starched cotton saree and spectacles.
The teaser showcases that former US Secretary of State, Henry Kissinger calls Indira (Kangana) and asks her whether American President Richard Nixon can call her 'Ma'am' instead of sir. Kangana, gives him permission. However, soon she tells her secretary to contact the US President and inform him that everyone in her office calls her 'sir'.
Kangana's look was created by Oscar winning makeup artist David Malinowski who has worked in popular movies like "Darkest Hour" (2017), "World War Z" (2013), and "The Batman" (2022).
