‘It's okay to get up and go pee’ 3- James Cameron responds to complaints on ‘Avatar: The Way of Water’ being too long

In response to claims that "Avatar: The Way of Water" is "too long", director James Cameron encouraged the audience to take small breaks if one needs to visit the restroom.

In a recent interview the director said, "I don't want anybody whining about length when they sit and binge-watch [television] for eight hours. Here's the big social paradigm shift that has to happen: it's okay to get up and go pee."

The film is expected to have an on-screen run time of over 3 hours.

In a recent interview with Empire, the director also said he might not be directing the other sequels of the "Avatar" franchise. He wants to pass it off to other directors as he has other projects that he wants to work on.

The teaser of "Avatar: The Way of Water" garnered much response from fans upon release. The film is slated to release this December.
