Windies take 1-0 lead after win at Antigua

Starting the day at 49 for 3, West Indies picked up the 35 more runs required to clinch the first Test at Antigua against Bangladesh by seven wickets.

It was a dominating Test win by the Caribbean side, bundling Bangladesh out for 103 and 245 in two innings. Needing just 84 runs in the second innings, pacer Khaled Ahmed created some disturbance for the Windies in chase, picking up three quick wickets. However, opener John Campbell and vice captain Jermaine Blackwood took Windies over the ropes without further loss of wickets.

Campbell, who struck a 67-ball 58, struck Mehedi Hasan Miraz over long off to pick up the required runs and take a 1-0 lead in the two-match Test series.
