Cameron Diaz comes out of retirement for Netflix film
Cameron Diaz is finally coming out of retirement after eight years, opposite Jamie Foxx in Netflix action-comedy movie "Back in Action." The shooting of the film will start in 2023.
"(Jamie Foxx) only you could get me back in action. I can't freakin wait it's gonna be a blast!", read the post.
On the other hand, Jamie Foxx announced the news by sharing an audio conversation on Twitter. Diaz felt like she was out of words to express her excitement about her return to the silver screen.
"I feel excited but, I don't know how to do this, you know?", said the actress in the audio clip.
Just last year, Cameron Diaz shared that she couldn't imagine being on set for 16 hours straight after becoming a mother. She felt reluctant on the idea of doing a movie but thankfully Foxx was able to change her mind.
Both Foxx and Diaz earlier worked together in the movies "Any Given Sunday" (1999) and the remake of "Annie" (2014). Cameron Diaz tied the knot with singer Benji Madden in 2015, the couple has one child together called Raddix, who was born in 2020.
